Ryad Private Garden

A central axial pathway of warm gray stone bisects Fernando Pozuelo's Ryad Private Garden, drawing the eye with commanding linear perspective toward an ornate Moorish-inspired tower that punctuates the horizon where cobalt twilight gradates into soft amber warmth. The composition achieves remarkable bilateral symmetry, with the elongated walkway functioning as both spine and visual corridor, its edges defined by recessed channels of illuminated water that cast golden reflections upward, creating a luminous frame within the verdant lawn panels flanking each side. The chromatic palette orchestrates a sophisticated dialogue between cool celestial blues ranging from cerulean through ultramarine in the upper register and warm terrestrial tones of ochre, sienna, and amber emanating from strategically placed lanterns that dot the landscape like grounded constellations. Mature specimen trees, their canopies rendered in deep viridian and olive, establish a protective enclosure while their trunks receive theatrical uplighting that transforms bark textures into sculptural presences. The challenge consisted in modernizing an old country house and turns it into a realm of peace and quiet, comprehensively working both on the architectural and landscape areas. The facade was renewed, civil work was did on the pavings and the swimmimg pool and retaining walls were built, creating new forge ironworks for the archways, walls and fences. Gardening, irrigation and the reservoir, as well as lightning, furniture and accessories were also comprehensively delt with.
