The two-story structure presents itself frontally, its façade dominated by continuous horizontal datums created by deep floor plates that cantilever beyond the building envelope, generating a powerful sense of weightlessness despite the material mass of concrete. The compositional armature adheres to principles of classical proportion, with the lower level serving as a visually anchoring plinth from which the upper living volume appears to float, supported by slender cylindrical columns arranged in a rhythmic colonnade that establishes a contemplative portico condition. Chromatic relationships oscillate between the warm sienna and burnt umber tones of weathered corten steel panels flanking the glazed central bays and the cool neutral grey of the board-formed concrete, this dialogue between warm and cool temperatures finding resolution in the verdant viridian and sap green of the surrounding lawn that sweeps toward the viewer in a gentle slope.
