Y Club Bar and Restaurant

Deep umber shadows envelop this sophisticated hospitality interior where SANJ Design Studio's Y Club Bar and Restaurant unfolds as a masterful study in controlled luminosity and material juxtaposition, the eye drawn immediately to the rhythmic undulation of a polished ceiling treatment that ripples like liquid bronze across the upper register, its reflective surface capturing and fragmenting the warm amber glow of recessed spotlights into dancing highlights that seem to breathe with organic movement. The compositional architecture operates on a deliberate diagonal axis, leading the viewer's gaze from the luminous cobalt blue vertical element at left—a glass-enclosed display structure whose cool cerulean radiance provides calculated chromatic counterpoint to the prevailing warm palette—through the middle ground populated by sleek black leather seating arrangements clustered around intimate circular tables, each crowned with a softly glowing lamp reminiscent of paper lanterns. The chromatic strategy employs a sophisticated split-complementary scheme wherein the dominant burnt umber, raw sienna, and oxidized copper tones establish an enveloping warmth punctuated by strategic insertions of ultramarine and cobalt accents that prevent the space from becoming visually monotonous. Perforated metallic screens along the right edge introduce geometric regularity through their gridded apertures, creating moiré patterns where light passes through layered surfaces, while the polished concrete flooring anchors the composition with cool gray neutrality that reflects ambient illumination in soft pools. The spatial construction achieves remarkable depth through atmospheric perspective, as the background dissolves into mysterious darkness where distant architectural elements emerge as silhouettes against warmly illuminated mesh panels suggesting ember-like luminescence. Surface textures oscillate between the liquid smoothness of the sculptural ceiling, the tactile grain of brushed metal panels, the supple yielding quality of leather upholstery, and the industrial honesty of exposed concrete, creating a haptic richness that rewards sustained contemplation.

The design of Y Club Bar and Restaurant combined multiple dining experiences in one place and have controlled the use of materials to create a simple and pure club space. Inspired by the Roaring Twenties, a short but special period, the project aims to present a black and gold era. The whole design discards the exaggerated decoration and creates a mysterious and exquisite club experience by carefully planning the space, selecting the materials and creating the lighting with care.
