Qun Wen's Chongwen Langyue Exhibition Center rises against an azure sky as a sculptural manifestation of contemporary architectural ambition, where crystalline glass planes meet pristine white aluminum composite panels in a dramatic dialogue of transparency and opacity. The primary focal point emerges through the building's extraordinary angular geometry, featuring a sweeping curved roof element that arches gracefully downward to meet the earth while simultaneously thrusting upward in bold cantilever, creating a dynamic tension between gravitational anchor and aerial aspiration. The compositional architecture follows a diagonal thrust from lower left to upper right, establishing powerful directional vectors through the inclined glass curtain wall whose vertical mullions create rhythmic striations against the sky. The chromatic palette operates within a sophisticated limited range: titanium white and pearl gray aluminum cladding occupies the upper mass, while cool steel-blue reflective glass dominates the left facade, its surface capturing ephemeral reflections of sky, clouds, and surrounding landscape. The foreground presents a striking horizontal reflecting pool rendered in obsidian black, its mirror-still surface creating perfect inversions of the architecture above and introducing profound spatial doubling. Emerald green lawn strips provide organic counterpoint to the hard geometric precision, their verdant hue offering chromatic relief against the achromatic building envelope. The project is located at the city of Xian, China. The site is at an intersection of two major roads in the city. The unique shape is highly visible, which can better attract people and become a new benchmark in the block. The colorful dynamics of the interior will be highly visible from the city street and becomes a landmark for the project area. The unique appearance of the building brings the sense of a lively modern life style for the neighborhood. The aluminum panels and glass cladding which create a contrast between solid and transparent.
