Angela Spindler's Argan Life Skincare presents a triadic arrangement of cylindrical vessels positioned upon lavender-toned architectural pedestals, the composition orchestrated through careful asymmetrical balance wherein three containers of varying heights establish a dynamic visual rhythm against a monochromatic violet backdrop featuring a prominent arch that functions as both framing device and spatial anchor. The chromatic strategy employs a sophisticated analogous harmony spanning the warm-to-cool spectrum: the leftmost vessel rendered in soft coral pink with geometric basketweave patterning adorning its cap, the central cylinder bathed in rich saffron yellow suggesting warmth and vitality, while the rightmost container displays a delicate mauve pink that harmonizes with the environmental violet suffusing the scene. The lighting paradigm suggests diffused directional illumination emanating from the upper left quadrant, creating subtle gradations across the cylindrical forms and generating soft shadows that anchor each vessel to its respective plinth without harsh demarcation. The designer was commissioned to develop sustainable packaging for a mixed range of hair and skincare products. The project challenge was to use one size of packaging for three different-sized products. This required some clever internal cardboard engineering to support the products inside the single-size tube. The cardboard tubes were printed offset with black plus two spot colors, a spot UV varnish, and all over satin aqueous varnish. The lid labels were printed in two colors on a self-adhesive stock.
