The chair's fundamental geometry derives from the mathematical elegance of concentric ripples propagating outward from a central disturbance, translated here into three-dimensional form through what appears to be precision metal fabrication techniques that achieve remarkable thinness at the edges while maintaining structural integrity at the curved intersections. Positioned on dark slate pavers beside a tranquil reflecting pool, the piece establishes a sophisticated figure-ground relationship wherein the organic curves of the furniture contrast sharply with the orthogonal grid of the hardscape, while simultaneously echoing the gentle undulations visible on the water's surface behind it.
