Seasun Interior Design

HEY Corp.'s Seasun Interior Design presents a sophisticated contemporary interior lounge space where dramatic linear ceiling architecture establishes the primary compositional rhythm through parallel black metal slats that radiate perspectivally from the viewer's position toward floor-to-ceiling glazing revealing an expansive coastal panorama with distant islands silhouetted against a luminous overcast sky. The ceiling system functions as the dominant visual element, its repetitive horizontal members creating a strong directional vector that pulls the eye inexorably toward the natural light source while simultaneously compressing the vertical dimension to establish an intimate human scale. Warm amber accent lighting emerges between the black slats, introducing a thermal counterpoint to the cool industrial materiality and echoing the vibrant orange-red chromatic accents distributed throughout the furnishing scheme. The spatial organization follows a tripartite arrangement with a functional service zone of matte charcoal cabinetry occupying the left wall, a central conversational grouping anchored by sculptural seating elements, and a translucent orange-tinted partition at right that creates visual intrigue while maintaining spatial connectivity. The floor plane employs polished concrete in neutral gray tones that grounds the composition while reflecting ambient light to enhance luminosity. Particularly noteworthy are the whimsical lip-shaped rockers in saturated vermillion that introduce biomorphic playfulness contrasting with the geometric rigor of the architectural envelope. A plush lounge chair in warm burgundy velvet accompanied by charcoal wool poufs creates a secondary seating cluster oriented toward the panoramic view. The complementary accent of a golden sunflower-shaped cushion and matching throw pillows in cadmium yellow provides chromatic punctuation that references solar warmth. Through the glazed partition, glimpses of a vibrant play zone featuring orange sculptural elements and yellow geometric forms suggest programmatic diversity within a unified aesthetic framework, demonstrating masterful integration of functional zones through material and chromatic choreography that balances industrial sophistication with inviting warmth.

This project is an office design for Seasun Games, a leading video game publisher in China. The designers use elements of anime, vibrant colors and diverse ways of interaction to highlight the role of Seasun as a game developer and its corporate culture and spirit while creating an efficient, comfortable and healthy working environment for its employees.
