J.Lalli Valley Villa Residential House

Warm amber illumination emanates from within gad's J.Lalli Valley Villa Residential House, captured at the threshold between day and night when architecture reveals its most compelling dialogue between interior sanctuary and exterior environment, presenting a sophisticated multi-level residential composition where cantilevered terraces extend horizontally in rhythmic progression across the facade like geological strata frozen in elegant suspension. The compositional architecture employs a dynamic asymmetrical balance wherein rectangular volumes stack and shift with deliberate counterpoint, each level articulating its own horizontal datum through pronounced overhangs finished in rich chestnut-toned wood soffits that create warm cavities of shadow beneath their protective shelter. The chromatic palette navigates between cool mineral grays of stone cladding, the warm honey-brown of timber ceiling planes, crystalline transparency of floor-to-ceiling glazing, and the deep viridian of surrounding conifers that embrace the structure's western edge. Light operates on multiple registers simultaneously: the diffused cerulean of twilight sky occupies the upper register while interior spaces glow with incandescent warmth at approximately 3000K, creating luminous volumes that transform windows into lantern-like planes of invitation. Spatial construction achieves remarkable depth through the overlapping recession of terraces, each balustrade of transparent glass maintaining visual continuity while the textural gradient from sharp foreground foliage to softened distant forms reinforces atmospheric perspective. The surface quality demonstrates material authenticity through the linear rhythm of wood slats in ceiling soffits, the matte precision of stone panels, and the reflective smoothness of glass barriers. Edge behavior oscillates between the hard geometric precision of architectural lines and the organic softness of arboreal silhouettes, establishing a productive tension between built form and natural context. This is a mountainous residential project located in J.Lalli. The construction area is 23000 sqm and there are 130 households totally. In order to take into account the profits of developers and the living experience of customers at the same time, the section of the buildings shows that every household located adapting to the mountain terrain and get more sunshine and good view. Moreover, under environment and construction technology thinking, the designer adopted stilt buildings to protect mountain. The application of the fabricated steel structure is a good example for local building.
