Ormankoy Community Centre Nature

DAP Yapı's Ormankoy Community Centre Nature presents itself through an elevated aerial perspective that reveals a masterfully integrated architectural composition nestled within an expansive winter forest landscape, where the pristine mantle of fresh snow transforms the entire tableau into a study of chromatic restraint and luminous purity. The eye gravitates immediately toward the geometric precision of the contemporary structure positioned in the upper right quadrant, its angular rooflines creating dynamic triangular forms that pierce the otherwise organic softness of the snow-laden canopy. The chromatic palette operates within an extraordinarily refined range of whites, from the brilliant titanium white of freshly fallen snow to the softer cream tones where shadows gather beneath the forest's embrace, punctuated dramatically by the deep viridian and teal of an unfrozen reflecting pool that anchors the architectural complex with startling chromatic intensity. The compositional architecture follows a deliberate asymmetrical balance, with the dense coniferous forest occupying the upper left diagonal creating a powerful textural mass against which the geometric clarity of the building asserts its presence. Spatial recession operates through atmospheric perspective as the forest recedes into a soft blue-grey haze toward the horizon, while the foreground deciduous trees, their branches heavy with snow, create an intricate lace-like pattern of silver and white. To establish an intersection between Ormankoy Community Centre and the surrounded natural park which is approx. 60.000 sqm, 2 biological ponds in size of total 4000 sqm had been incorporated to project area. Along the design process, it's aimed to form a clean and sleek geometry; a unique – iconic – lasting impact. Surrounded by the natural park, functional gains had met with the requirements by the advantage of having large foot area under the 2 gable roofs lowering to ground level.
