Evd Office by Yang Bing and Hao Liyun presents a masterfully orchestrated interior spatial composition dominated by a sophisticated palette of warm putty tones, ranging from pale mushroom to deeper taupe, unified through what appears to be a Venetian plaster or microcement finish that envelops walls and ceiling in seamless matte continuity. The compositional architecture employs a striking bilateral symmetry disrupted by carefully considered asymmetrical accents, with the primary focal point established through a monumental barrel-vaulted archway that frames the viewer's entry into a sequence of nested spatial experiences. The geometric armature reveals itself through the repetition of semicircular and stadium-shaped apertures, creating a rhythmic visual cadence that draws the eye progressively deeper into the layered spatial recession. The foreground presents four distinctive curved sculptural elements in warm walnut tones, their organic sweeping forms creating visual counterpoint to the architectural geometry while functioning as partition walls that define circulation without obstructing sightlines. These curved wooden elements echo the semicircular arch vocabulary, establishing a dialogue between solid millwork and void apertures. The lighting paradigm suggests diffused natural illumination entering from the left through a generous arched opening that frames a carefully composed vignette of desert flora including a dracaena and opuntia cactus planted in sand-colored aggregate. Secondary illumination penetrates from various apertures creating subtle tonal gradations across the plaster surfaces, with the luminosity diminishing gently toward the deeper recesses of the space. The spatial construction employs a sophisticated layering of planes through overlapping architectural frames, establishing foreground through the curved wooden partitions, middle ground through the central passage revealing stepped display platforms, and background through glimpsed archways leading to further chambers. The stepped platforms in bleached wood tones create both functional display surfaces and visual rhythm, their horizontal stratification contrasting with the vertical aspiration of the arched forms. EVD office is conceived based on two design threads. The designers created a U-shaped area that combines with one long side and the 5 large windows, allowing natural light to filter in and diffuse freely. The spatial form is shaped based on classical languages, designers utilized classical architectural elements with modern approaches, to add a sense of eternity to the space. Besides, sphere, the most beautiful solid figure is brought in, which enhances the spatial aesthetic. The design starts from solving with spatial limitations caused by pipes for fire protection and air conditioners.
