Jiaqing Wu's Zhangyan Country Living Festival Exhibition Space presents a striking architectural composition wherein repurposed shipping containers have been transformed into a vibrant two-story pavilion structure, the eye immediately drawn to the bold chromatic interplay of coral pink, cobalt blue, and cadmium orange surfaces that define the modular volumes. The upper level features a substantial pink container bearing typographic elements in a contemporary sans-serif face, the words arranged in a stacked vertical hierarchy that reads "Future Country Living Festival," while large translucent white panels punctuate the corrugated metal facade, introducing luminous passages that soften the industrial materiality. The compositional architecture follows an asymmetrical balance schema, with the heavier visual weight concentrated in the upper left quadrant where the pink container mass dominates, counterbalanced by the horizontal extension of the glass-fronted workshop space at ground level. The ground floor presents a more transparent treatment, featuring expansive glazed openings framed in vivid orange that reveal the bustling interior activities, where visitors appear as motion-blurred phantoms captured in long exposure, suggesting temporal duration and human flow through the space. The chromatic harmony operates on a split-complementary scheme, with the warm pink and orange hues finding their foil in the cool cobalt blue accent visible at the structural corner, creating a triadic vibrancy that announces celebration and creative energy. Raking daylight from an overcast sky produces soft, diffused illumination without harsh shadows, allowing the saturated architectural colors to read with full chromatic intensity against the neutral pale gray atmospheric backdrop. The spatial construction employs a straightforward frontal perspective with minimal depth recession, emphasizing the facade as a graphic surface, while the stacked container volumes create a subtle cantilever effect at the upper level, introducing architectural dynamism through projecting mass. The industrial corrugated texture of the container walls provides tactile visual interest, their horizontal ridges creating rhythmic shadow lines that animate the otherwise flat color fields, while the smooth glass surfaces offer textural counterpoint through reflection and transparency.

The project hopes to create a blueprint for rural life in the future. The key vision design integrates the design style of Memphis School. It abstracts the "mountain, water, fish, bridge" and other elements with the local characteristics of Zhangyan Village to form the visual identity of this event. The overall vision of the project starts from the specific sections of the exhibition, speech, workshop, and market to carry out the spatial narrative, conveying the concepts of rural, sustainable, future, innovation.
